Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse

This past Saturday was Talon's 2nd birthday party. I gave him his choices of different party themes and it was no surprise when he chose Mickey mouse clubhouse. I went with basic black, red, yellow and blue decor. We added a few Printables here and there. Some little figurines and a DIY Mickey centerpiece on each table. We were just finishing setting up when guests arrived so we didn't get many detail shots. I was so happy with how it all came together though.

 As for games we played "The Grasshopper Hop" aka Potato Sack races. And then a mini treasure hunt for the pinata using Toodles and some Mouseketools. Again, not many pictures, as we were both running around with the kids but it was lots of fun.

All in all, the party was a hit. Talon had a blast and got lots of new toys. His friends seemed to enjoy themselves and we walked away blessed by everyone who came.

 Up next? He actually turns 2 on Thursday and this mommy may not survive the heartbreak. I will keep you posted. Ha.
